The excitement is building. You’re finally heading to a fall festival designed by moms, with parents and families in mind.

You arrive at Liberty Station, pull into your parking area, and parking is a breeze. You unload the kids and make your way toward the North Promenade, where the moment you arrive, it already feels like fall.

Pumpkins, autumn leaves, beautiful seasonal décor, and music in the distance welcome you to Harvest on the Promenade. You scan your ticket QR code at check-in, everyone receives their wristband, and just like that—your day begins.

Where do you go first? That’s entirely up to you.

Maybe the kids spot The Farmstead and make a beeline for the bunnies. They spend some time with their new furry friends, climb aboard the play tractors, dig into the Pig Pen sensory bins, or settle in for story time.

Or maybe they’re ready to build something.

At the Builders Workshop, kids choose pieces of real wood from the scrap bins, grab a toolbox, and find a spot at one of the workbenches. They can measure, plan, hammer, nail, sand, paint, and create something completely their own—with our professionally staffed Saw Station there to help with any cuts they need. When they’re finished, their masterpiece can be left to dry while your family keeps exploring the festival.

Next stop: Makers Village.

Here, kids can slow down and create with their own two hands. They might craft a woodland forest animal using natural materials, experiment with Indian ink art, or design and make their very own stamp. There’s no pressure to make something perfect. The fun is in choosing a project, getting creative, and seeing where their imagination takes them.

By now, you hear cheering coming from Family Field Days.

Grab the kids—and maybe Mom, Dad, Grandma, or Grandpa, too—and jump into an old-fashioned family competition. Take your turn in the Sack Race, roll your way through the Great Pumpkin Roll, work together during the Blanket Shuffle, or see how you do in the Great Apple Toss. Games happen throughout the day, so stay for one or come back later and try another.

Then it’s time to wander into The Glowing Hollow.

Step out of the light of day and into a completely different world. Inside, hundreds of illuminated, hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns glow around you as theatrical lighting, music, and whimsical fall scenes transform the space. It’s immersive and magical without being scary, so even little ones can enjoy it. Take your time, look around, and soak it all in.

Eventually, everyone gets hungry.

Grab something delicious from one of our food vendors and find a spot on the lawn in our Picnic Area. Settle in while live bluegrass, folk, and country music plays from the Harvest Stage. Grab one of our board games to borrow and play a round together, or simply sit back with something good to eat and enjoy having nowhere you need to rush off to next.

And that’s kind of the point.

This isn’t your typical festival day where you’re racing from one attraction to another, worried about what you’re missing. Harvest on the Promenade was designed by moms who understand what family outings are actually like. We wanted to create a place where parents could relax, kids could explore, and families could simply enjoy being together.

So stay on the lawn a little longer. Listen to another song. Play another game.

Along the way, keep your eyes open for the Harvest Scavenger Hunt. Hidden items are tucked throughout the festival just waiting to be discovered. See how many your family can spot as you explore.

Head back to The Farmstead. Play another round of Family Field Days. Visit a favorite experience again. Grab some cider and a donut. Or simply find a comfortable spot and watch the day unfold around you.

There’s no perfect way to experience Harvest.

Pick the experiences your family loves. Skip the ones you don’t. Make something together. Get a little paint on your hands. Cheer ridiculously loudly during a sack race. Play a board game on the lawn. Take too many pictures. Eat something delicious.

And when the day starts winding down, swing back by the Builders Workshop to collect the creation your child made earlier.

Then you head home—with tired kids, handmade treasures, probably a few wood shavings stuck somewhere they shouldn’t be, and hopefully the feeling that, for a few hours, everyone was simply together.

That’s the kind of day we’re creating at Harvest on the Promenade.
